My name is Sophia, and I am the owner of Sugar Star Bakery! I have loved being in the kitchen for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest memories are in the kitchen learning how to bake from generations of women in my family. What began as a way I loved to spend time with my mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother during my childhood has blossomed into one of my greatest passions as an adult.

I am focused on creating and perfecting high quality, delicious baked goods and sharing them with the people around me. I love experimenting with recipes to see how different techniques and ingredients can transform a baked good's flavor, appearance, and texture. For me, baking is an art and a science. It has always fascinated me how the slightest details can affect the outcome, and I love seeing the "perfect baked good" that I have pictured in my mind come to life when I bake.

All of my recipes are genuine labors of love, and many have developed over months or even years to become what they are today.  Sharing the baked goods I've infused with passion, care, and creativity with family and friends brings me immense joy, and it inspired me to turn that love into a business so I could offer my creations beyond just those in my inner circle.
